Agenda for the 2022-23 AGM 
* Note that while there will be an opportunity for discussion of New Business on the agenda, any items directly connected to proposed changes to the Constitution or Bylaws must be submitted to [email protected] by 7pm on Wednesday May 3, so that they are added to the official agenda.

Executive Board of Directors:

Refer to Bylaws 1.0 and 2.0 (link provided above) for the full list of positions on the Board, along with the responsibilities of each.
Below is a brief description for each of the roles that are open for election/re-election at this year's AGM.
   
Southern Counties League representative - Two year term; currently vacant
  • attends all league meetings (usually in Paris, once a month)
  • is the liaison between the league and Association
  • ensures league rules are communicated to respective coaches
Coach Mentor - Two year term; currently held by Ryan Jessop
  • coordinates the recruitment of, and selection process for, team head coaches
  • assists with recruiting additional bench staff as needed
  • ensures all bench staff have completed the required training certifications, and have a current Vulnerable Sector Check on file
  • assists with any dispute resolutions involving coaching staff
  • is the liaison between the coaches and Association
Timekeeper Assignor - Two year term; currently held by Melissa Oakes (assigning) / John Scoyne (training)
  • coordinates the recruitment and selection of student timekeepers
  • ensures all Association league and exhibition games have a qualified timekeeper(s) assigned 
  • tracks games completed by each timekeeper, and submits monthly pay reports to the treasurer
Tournament Convenor - Two year term; currently help by Trevor Baer
  • coordinates all activities concerning PDMHA sanctioned tournaments, including scheduling and recruitment of team entries
  • ensures OMHA tournament regulations are followed
  • presents a financial report for each tournament to the treasurer
  • traditionally, PDMHA has hosted the following:  U11 LL Pride Tournament (early Dec.); Christmas Break Tournament or Jamboree; Little Brave Jamboree & Tournament over March Break
Communications Director - Two year term; currently held by Jocelyn Patey
  • responsible for external communications on behalf of PDMHA, including marketing & recruitment efforts
  • maintain any Association social media accounts (currently Facebook)
  • regularly post news items and announcements on social media channels to keep the Membership informed of, and to promote interest in, Association events and accomplishments 
Members-at Large - up to five positions; one year term; currently held by Abbe Goddard, Steve Hughes, Adam Czech, Rick Koebel, Brendan Eby
  • attends board meetings to provide additional input on Association operations
  • learns about other Board positions and assists where possible
