Registration for 2019-2020 Season

Please read the following information carefully, before registering!

For all registrations:

Fundraising/Volunteer Fee - These additional fees are mandatory and payable every year. The fees are charged once per family, regardless of how many children you register. The fee is $250/per family. The breakdown for this fee is as follows:

      1. $150 Fundraising Fee: Each family will be given $150 worth of raffle tickets.  The raffle draw, covering a wide range of great prizes, takes place as part of events near the end of the season (exact date TBA). All money you receive when you sell the raffle tickets is yours to keep.
      2. $100 Volunteer Fee: PDMHA relies on its parents/guardians for so much! Volunteers make up coaching staff, team managers and trainers, parent reps, jersey washers, and help the Association run events such as the Hugh Hall Celebration and our annual Little Brave Tournament. We hope that instead of letting PDMHA keep your volunteer fee, the amount is enough that people will decide to get involved. PDMHA doesn't want to keep your $100, we need you to come on out and volunteer!  Those who do will have their volunteer fee refunded at the end of the season.

Player Fees – We've compared our early registration rates to other centres in our area, and have found that we have one of the least expensive fee schedules around! The 2019-20 early registration rates are in effect until June 15th; registrations for returning players received June 16th or later will be subject to an additional $250 late fee!

Registration fees do not include rep team fees, nor wicket/gate fees (entrance to games).

Registration Notes:
*** New Player Incentive:  Any new player registering with PDMHA for peewee division and below, who has never registered with an organized minor hockey association previously, will be offered a discounted rate of only $250 for registration!  So now is the time to try this wonderful team sport!  (does not apply to players transferring from another centre; volunteer and fundraising fees still applicable)

Registration fees for the third (and fourth, etc.) child within one family unit are 1/2 price!  Only one discount per child will be applied (either the third child 1/2 price discount OR the new player discount rate).

Late registration fees are not applied to new players, nor to players transferring to PDMHA from another association.

Information about tryouts for Rep teams (Novice through to Midget) will be made available closer to the start of the season.

House (local league) teams at the Novice, Atom and Peewee levels should expect to share ice time for some practices. When scheduling permits, full ice practice sessions will be offered.  Effective since the 2015-16 season, OMHA has removed body checking from all house and local leagues, at ALL divisions.
