Update on Hockey Season
Submitted By Tina Balfour on Wednesday, February 3, 2021
Just a quick update for our players & families - we hope to be back on the ice soon!

If the current lockdown is lifted, practices will resume on Thurs Feb 11th.  If Southwestern Public Health Unit is placed in the "Red-control" level of restrictions, the posted practice schedule will be adjusted to meet the requirements (no shared ice times).  If we are placed in the "Orange-restrict" level (or better), then we will pick up where we left off at the Christmas break, and will work with our neighbouring centres to get some games scheduled after a few practices.

We want to thank our township council for deciding to keep the ice in at the arena, giving our players the opportunity to resume their season!  We have also been informed that, if we are able to start up on Feb 11th, we will be able to extend our season until April 3rd.

In all cases, we will continue to follow all health & safety guidelines and protocols as set out by the province and OHF.

Stay healthy everyone, and hope to see you all at the arena soon!
