Updates to Teams and the Website
Please note that the teams for the 2020-21 season have been updated on our website.

This includes using the results of evaluations to break the Initiation Program players into three teams: Learn to Skate, Learn to Play 1, and Learn to Play 2; as well as to define three teams for the atom and peewee aged players: U11 (Atom), U13-1 (Peewee-1), and U13-2 (Peewee-2).

Each team now has it's own roster and schedule - apologies for any confusing email notifications you may have received when the updates were being completed!

From a computer, you should now see the updated teams on the left hand side of the main page - click on any team, and the Team Roster can be viewed.  From a mobile device, you may need to use the "Site Finder" to locate an individual team site, in order to view its player roster and schedule.

It is recommended that our families update their email/text subscriptions and check off the team(s) for their player(s), to ensure you continue to receive relevant notifications.

Representatives from our executive will soon be meeting with neighbouring centres in our PHU - Tavistock, Embro, and likely Norwich - to discuss the formation of "bubbles" of like-skilled teams and to start scheduling games.  Tavistock and Embro just started ice times last week, so we are a bit ahead on getting our teams organized for the season.  We will provide updates as soon as we can!

A big thank you to all of our families, for adhering to the health & safety protocols that have been put in place - please continue to:
  • self-assess using the OHF-health-screening-questionnaire each day before heading to the arena
  • wear a face mask/covering at all times while inside the arena (except when on the ice)
  • check in at the front door for contact tracing records
  • limit the number of family members coming to the arena whenever possible
  • follow the traffic-flow guidelines within the arena so that facility staff can effectively and efficiently clean/sanitize in between each group
Together we can minimize risk to our hockey families, and keep our players on the ice!

Lastly, we hope you all have a wonderful Thanksgiving weekend.  Enjoy the sunshine, and stay safe :)
