Registration for the 2025-26 Season

Registration Fees

For all registrations:

Volunteer Fee - $100
This additional fee is charged once per family, regardless of how many children you register. PDMHA relies on its parents/guardians for so much! Volunteers make up coaching staff, team managers and trainers, parent reps, and help the Association run events. We hope that instead of letting PDMHA keep your volunteer fee, the amount is enough that people will decide to get involved. PDMHA doesn't want to keep your $100, we need you to come on out and volunteer!  Those who do, will have their volunteer fee refunded at the end of the season, through a credit to put towards next year's registration!

Fundraising Fee - $150
Each family is also charged a single fundraising fee, for which they will then receive a book of 50 raffle tickets for some great prizes! Any money collected through the sale of their tickets is then retained by the family; thus, this fee can also be fully recouped. The raffle draw takes place at our annual Hugh Hall Celebration event in the latter part of the season.

Player Fees – Player registration fees are according to age division, and are given in the table below.

*** New Player Incentive:  Any new player registering with PDMHA for U13 and below, who has never registered with an organized minor hockey association previously, will be offered a discounted rate of only $315 for registration!  So now is the time to try this wonderful team sport!  (does not apply to players transferring from another centre; volunteer + fundraising fees are still applicable)

Registration fees for the third (and fourth, etc.) child within one family unit are 1/2 price!  Discount is applied to the youngest child in the family.  Only one discount per child will be applied (either the third child 1/2 price discount OR the new player discount rate)

PDMHA's Registration and Refund policies can be found here.  In particular, any cancellation of registration received by Sept. 2 2024 will receive a full refund.

Register for Tryouts/Evaluations:

Players must register through the HCR site to attend the Tryout/Evaluation sessions, which take place in September.  There is a $30/player cost to attend the sessions.  Further details and the registration form will be provided mid- to late-May.

Season Registration Steps:

Step 1, Register:  To register players for the 2025-26 season, please complete & submit our online Registration form (will be made available by mid-May).

Step 2, Payment of Fees:

Registration fees (including Volunteer + Fundraising fees) can either be paid:

  • in full (due July 31st)
  • or in two installments ($250/player due July 31st, with balance due Sept. 15th)
  • or in three installments ($250/player due July 31st, with half of remaining fees due Sept. 15th and the other half due Nov. 15th).
Payment options include cheque, credit card (via PayPal), and e-transfers.

Registration for New Players:

Complete our online Registration Form (will be available mid-May); you will need to upload a copy of the player's birth certificate, so please have that ready before starting the form.

Once we have the player pre-registered, you will receive an email to confirm this along with a request to complete the online "Respect in Sport - Parent Program", as mandated by OMHA - no player will be allowed to be rostered to a minor hockey team until at least one parent/guardian has completed the course. The course is accessed online, takes approximately one hour to complete, and costs $12-$15. When signing in to the course, there will be a spot to indicate your child(ren)'s name. The course only needs to be completed once, and does not need to be repeated in subsequent seasons.

Registration for Transfer Players:

If you are transferring from another minor hockey association, then please contact our OMHA Rep, Tina Balfour, to submit the required documentation.
