Registration Information

Register for Tryouts/Evaluations

Tryout Registration – U11 to U18 (2009 – 2015)

For players planning on trying out for a rep team U11 to U18, register for tryouts HERE.

After rep teams have been finalized, players will be provided with further instructions to register for the season.

Tryouts will take place in September.  There is a non-refundable tryout fee of $100 and are due upon registering for tryouts. Note: this fee is separate from registration fees outlined below. The Tryout schedule is now available.

Registration Process

Local League Registration (2008 – 2018), including Initiation Program (2019 – 2022)
For players interested in playing in the Local League or are U9 (2017) and younger (2018 - 2022), register HERE.

Registering a New Player to Hockey

Before registering a new player, parents must complete the online "Respect in Sport - Parent Program". This is mandated by OMHA. No player will be allowed to be rostered to a minor hockey team until at least one parent/guardian has completed the course. The course is accessed online, takes approximately one hour to complete, and costs $12-$15. When signing in to the course, there will be a spot to indicate your child(ren)'s name. The course only needs to be completed once and does not need to be repeated in subsequent seasons.

Once training is complete, you can set up a Hockey Canada profile and register for rep tryouts or for Local League.

Registration Fee Notes:

** Note, that Rep team fees (U11 and above age divisions) are in addition to the base registration fees and will collected once teams have been determined in September; additional fees will also apply to attend the tryout/evaluation sessions.

Registration fees for the third (and fourth, etc.) child within one family unit are 1/2 price!  Discount is applied to the youngest child/children in the family.

Volunteer Fee - $100
All registration fees, include a volunteer fee is charged once per family, regardless of how many children you register. PDMHA relies on its parents/guardians for so much! Volunteers make up coaching staff, team managers and trainers, parent reps, and help the Association run events. We hope that instead of letting PDMHA keep your volunteer fee, the amount is enough that people will decide to get involved. PDMHA doesn't want to keep your $100, we need you to come on out and volunteer!  Those who do, will have their volunteer fee refunded at the end of the season, through a credit to put towards next year's registration!

Fundraising Fee - $150
Each family is also charged a single fundraising fee, for which they will then receive a book of 50 raffle tickets for some great prizes! Any money collected through the sale of their tickets is then retained by the family; thus, this fee can also be fully recouped. The raffle draw takes place at our annual Hugh Hall Celebration event in the latter part of the season.
